Mornings like this get me really excited for vacation. The sun is out, the air is warm but not too warm, the wind is aimlessly blowing through the trees, and I am sipping on my coffee, reading my book. We read Les Miserables my junior or senior year of high school. Like most of our assigned reading books, I loved it. But I loved this one more than most, and ended up writing down quotes because Victor Hugo's writing style is intense, and the way he strung together words was unlike anything else I'd ever read. I could sit in a bookstore or library for hours. Making my way up and down the aisles, browsing titles, finding books that catch my eye, flipping through various sections of a book to see if it's really as interesting as the spine or cover makes it out to be.
